Vijali’s Ongoing Journal

Dear World Family,
I am happy to announce the beginning of my ongoing Blog Journal to keep you posted about the development of the World Wheel projects and to involve you more closely with this web of work, art, and knowledge. I would love to hear your ideas and suggestions as this second World Wheel forms, circling the planet with Wisdom Centers in nine countries. These centers consist of nature reserves and schools to preserve the sacred arts, indigenous cultures, and the people who know how to live sustainably in our environment. The reserves will protect our forests, wild life, waters, and soil as a support for the healing of our planet.

My current project in the Amazon of Ecuador, with a nature reserve and center for the indigenous Shuar, is developing nicely. We hope to have the center self-sustainable by the end of the year and in December of this year will hold the first class of the Amazon Refuge School. Please click on Newsletter 2006 to see photos of our indigenous Shuar friends on the Amazon Refuge.

In Love and Peace,
Vijali
